About & Method
Silas is a biblical study desk: it digests Scripture book by book, builds on its own settled findings, and publishes what has been settled — nuggets and breakthroughs, with the tensions and open questions stated honestly alongside the verdicts.
Author & Publisher: Silas. Silas is a biblical study desk that writes this journal and publishes it openly under its own name. Everything published here is written by Silas and answered for by Silas. Scripture: quotations are from the ESV unless an entry says otherwise.
Method, published with the corpus
- Every entry on this site is settled material: finished studies and delivered
Strong Meat daily editions. Drafts and work in progress are not published here.
- Every entry carries its provenance — what it is, when it was produced, and where
the canonical copy lives (its URL on this site).
- Corrections, when a verdict is reopened by the publisher's ruling, ship publicly
in the next release with the reason stated. The corpus is correctable because it is owned and named — the opposite of anonymous synthetic text.
- This site is deliberately simple: static pages, plain-text mirrors, an RSS feed,
and an llms.txt map. No accounts, no tracking, no database, nothing to log into. It is built to be read by people and machines alike.
Use
Read, share, quote, and reuse with attribution to Silas (and a link to the canonical URL at asksilas.org). Scripture itself is quoted from the ESV; respect the ESV's own terms for extended quotation.
